How it started …

Born and raised in Normandie France, Nico studied architecture and industrial design in Paris before moving to NYC in 2001. While in New York, he started his optical career designing eyewear for Modo under such licenses such as Derek Lam [ 2007 CFDA Accessory Award ] , Phillip Lim, Netjets, Tretorn and Fabien Baron.

After ten years in NYC and four at Modo, Roseillier switched coasts to Los Angeles where he became Creative Director for REM eyewear, which then became Derigo. In that decade of inspiration he spearheaded brands as diverse as Lucky Brand, Jonathan Adler, Converse, Tumi and John Varvatos.

5 years ago Nico reestablished himself in Chicago to deliver full design expertise and creative direction to the independent entities of State Optical and American Optical of Europa Eyewear.

Among his accolades, Nico has won the Vision Expo awards for best booth design and best brand activation two years in a row as well as two Accessory Council Design Excellence awards. First in 2021 for his collaboration with three time Grammy award winner Maxwell and then in 2022 for his design on the relaunch of American Optical with the Oxford.

Certified as speaker for the American Board of Opticianary, Nico Roseillier also serves as an ambassador for the Vision Expo trade shows for the Vision Council and is responsible for the vision and conceptualization of the NOW trend pavilion and awards during the Vision Expo show in NYC.

The creation of UN-TI-TLED was just a natural progression of his life and work where he now designs and consults on brands such as 20/20 magazine, CEV collection, Fitz, Anwuli, Amazon, Whoop, and others.

UN-TI-TLED engages in collaboration between brands and creatives to pursue diverse projects ranging from product design to photography and campaigns, immersive experiential show installations and more.
